Story from practice Těšín Theatre

The programme welcomes audiences at the door.

Digital posters at Těšín Theatre introduce productions and the whole season as audiences arrive. Their content can be updated remotely in Ki-Wi Signage, without printing and physically replacing paper posters.

01Situation

New productions need new invitations.

A new production or season brings a new invitation for audiences. When a programme keeps changing, the question is not only where to place its posters, but also how much work each update takes.

02Solution

Different screens. One web application.

Content on the programme displays at Těšín Theatre’s main entrance and in the foyer is managed in Ki-Wi Signage. One web application can send updates to selected screens or groups of screens.

Shared management can include supported devices from different brands and of different types. The person managing them can work in one environment even when the screens differ in size or design.

03Benefit

Fewer manual steps when updating the programme.

Digital posters and the capabilities of Ki-Wi Signage make routine programme updates easier:

  • Update without visiting each displayRoutine content changes can be made remotely, without walking from screen to screen.
  • No new printed copyChanging a digital promotion removes the need to print another poster and physically replace it at that display.
  • Prepare promotions in advanceScheduled playback can define when a promotion starts and ends. Content for several productions can therefore be prepared ahead of time.
04Context

Czech and Polish. For the audience and the place.

Both the Czech and Polish scenes are part of Těšín Theatre. The building signs and season poster feature both languages.

Content can also suit its location: for example, a season overview at the entrance and a promotion for a particular production in the foyer. The same management system can serve different messages.
