Scanner in hand. Keep track as you shop.
Self-service shopping with a handheld scanner needs a clear starting point. At Globus, this is the scanner wall: customers scan their card and collect the indicated scanner. They then scan products as they place them in their shopping trolley.

The customer card reader and control terminal are built into the wall of handheld scanner docks. The customer application links the card to scanner release; customers collect the indicated device and start shopping.
Ki-Wi Digital supplied the kiosks for these scanner walls. Ki-Wi Platform manages their operating modes and remote monitoring, including putting devices into sleep mode.

Scan&Go is one of several customer services supported by Ki-Wi kiosks at Globus. Other devices provide price checking, loyalty programme services or product information.
Each service has its own application. Within this setup, Ki-Wi supplies kiosks and supports their operation.
